Seeing that I really wouldn't want to talk about the game this weekend at South Bend......
And this post isn't really about Georgia Tech....
But Deal with it.
So I made the decision to buy myself tickets to music midtown, The lineup this year was not qquuiittee on par with previous years. Nonetheless, I have never gone before and i just barely missed buying a ticket last year. So what the hell.
I never will regret the decision, Music Midtown really helped me connect with my new home, Atlanta. Yes, I did see many sides of it, the good and the bad, but still there is something magical about being able to go to such a great event that is practically right next door.
In the end I had a great time. I got a break from my hectic Tech schedule, spent quality time with friends and fraternity brothers, and got to see a lot of artists, Including ones that I would have wanted to see but wouldn't buy a concert ticket for JUST them.
Like really, Sam Smith, Van Halen, Elton John, Vance Joy , Hall & Oates, X Ambassadors, Hozier all in one day
Like really. And fairly close too,
So basically my first weekend off campus was enjoyable. Midtown is definitely going to be one of my frequented spots for weekends.
So here's to beating Duke next week and as always THWg
